Prunus mume ‘Pendula’ is an elegant deciduous tree prized for its dramatic weeping habit and pendulous branches that cascade gracefully toward the ground. It produces fragrant single to double pink flowers in mid-winter, adding colour and scent to winter gardens.
This standard 1.8 m grafted tree develops lush green foliage through spring and summer, which transforms to warm yellow and orange tones in autumn. Best pruned annually to encourage heavy flowering, it is ideal as a feature specimen, in courtyards, or as a focal point in formal gardens.
