Prunus Persica ‘Crimson Cascade’ (Crimson Cascade Weeping Peach) is a striking deciduous ornamental tree known for its graceful cascading branches and masses of rich crimson-red, double flowers in spring. The flowers appear along bare branches before the foliage fully develops, creating a dramatic seasonal display. Its weeping form makes it an excellent feature tree for courtyards, small gardens, lawns and decorative landscape planting.
After flowering, the tree develops attractive narrow foliage that may emerge burgundy to reddish before maturing to green tones through summer. Best grown in full sun with well-drained soil, Crimson Cascade benefits from pruning after flowering to maintain its shape and encourage strong flowering the following season. Its compact size and distinctive pendulous form make it a standout ornamental choice where year-round structure and spectacular spring colour are desired.
