Pultenaea rosmarinifolia, commonly known as Rosy-leaved Bush-pea, is an upright or occasionally prostrate Australian native shrub admired for its fine, aromatic foliage and vibrant pea-shaped flowers. Naturally occurring in heathlands, open forests, and sclerophyll woodlands, it provides structural interest and a splash of color almost year-round. Its hardy nature makes it ideal for native gardens, borders, and pollinator-friendly plantings.
This species features alternate, narrow leaves 0.6–4.5 cm long and 1.8–5.5 mm wide, convex in cross-section with a pronounced central groove. Leaf tips are blunt with a short, stiff bristle, and margins curve or roll downward. Both surfaces are similarly colored, or the upper surface may be slightly darker than the lower. Stems are hairy, adding texture to the plant.
