Pyrus × triploida ‘Chastity’ is a modern ornamental flowering pear bred for high landscape performance and improved environmental safety. Developed as a sterile, induced triploid hybrid, it was specifically selected to eliminate the invasive tendencies seen in older flowering pear varieties
In spring, it produces abundant clusters of white blossoms, creating a clean, bright floral display. The foliage emerges bright green before maturing to a deep glossy green through summer. In autumn, it delivers a dramatic mix of red, orange, yellow, and purple tones, making it one of the most colourful ornamental pears available
Its strong pyramidal form, upright oval habit, and sturdy branching structure make it a reliable street and feature tree in both urban and residential landscapes
