Rosa 'Imogen*, commonly known as the Imogen English Rose, is a charming English shrub rose bred by David Austin, admired for its perfectly formed soft butter-yellow blooms that gradually fade to creamy ivory as they mature. The fully double, neatly cupped rosettes are produced in generous clusters from late spring through autumn, creating an elegant and refined display against healthy, glossy green foliage. With its light to medium fruity fragrance and graceful, rounded habit, Imogen is an excellent choice for cottage gardens, mixed borders, rose collections, and feature planting.
Renowned for its repeat flowering, excellent health, and compact growth, Imogen thrives in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. It is easy to maintain with regular deadheading and seasonal pruning, rewarding gardeners with continuous flushes of beautiful blooms throughout the growing season. Whether planted as a standalone specimen or combined with perennials and other roses, this elegant variety brings soft colour, delicate fragrance, and timeless English garden charm.
