Rosa 'Jude The Obscure' (English Shrub Rose) is a celebrated David Austin rose admired for its exceptionally large, deeply cupped blooms in soft apricot-yellow tones. The petals feature a rich apricot colour on the inside, fading to pale yellow on the outer edges, complemented by attractive, medium-green foliage. Its outstanding, strong fruity fragrance, with notes reminiscent of guava and sweet white wine, makes this rose a wonderful addition to gardens where colour and scent are equally valued. This repeat-flowering variety produces beautiful blooms in flushes throughout the growing season. <Cite refs={["turn297016search2","turn297016search4"]}/>
Ideal for cottage gardens, mixed borders, rose beds and feature planting, Rosa 'Jude The Obscure' (English Shrub Rose) combines old-fashioned floral charm with a vigorous, upright growth habit. Its abundant, fragrant flowers also make an excellent choice for cut-flower arrangements. Plant in a sunny position with fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil, and provide regular watering, seasonal pruning and rose fertiliser to encourage healthy growth and plentiful blooms.
