Rosa ‘Maggie’ is a vigorous and highly fragrant rose collected by Dr. William C. Welch in Louisiana. It produces large, very full blooms in rich carmine rose tones that can deepen to crimson in cooler weather, creating a strong and dramatic garden presence.
This rose is freely flowering on a healthy, robust shrub that can be used as a hedge, specimen plant, or trained as a pillar rose. Its classic “old rose” fragrance is especially intense when cut and brought indoors, making it excellent for both garden display and floral arrangements.
