Rosa ‘The Ancient Mariner’ is an elegant David Austin standard rose crowned with masses of large, densely petalled blooms. Each flower displays a glowing mid-pink centre that gradually softens towards the outer petals, eventually opening to reveal golden stamens. Its medium-to-strong myrrh fragrance and repeat-flowering performance provide a beautiful combination of colour and scent from late spring through to early winter.
Grafted onto a tall, upright stem, this standard rose creates an impressive tree-like feature without requiring the space of a conventional ornamental tree. It is ideal for framing entrances, lining paths, enhancing formal gardens or adding height to borders and large containers. Customers will appreciate its romantic flower form, extended blooming season and distinctive architectural presence.
