Rosmarinus officinalis ‘Semi Prostrate’, commonly known as Semi Prostrate Rosemary, is a fragrant evergreen herb with a graceful arching and semi-trailing growth habit. Its aromatic foliage provides year-round texture and is complemented by delicate blue flowers, creating a soft and attractive display in the garden.
Growing to around 50cm tall, this versatile rosemary is ideal for borders, rockeries, groundcover and containers. Its gently cascading stems are particularly effective when planted along walls, raised beds or the edges of pots, where they can naturally spill over.
Like most rosemary varieties, ‘Semi Prostrate’ is drought tolerant once established and performs best in full sun with well-drained soil. Its combination of fragrance, attractive foliage and low maintenance makes it an excellent choice for Mediterranean-style and water-wise gardens.
