Sage Tricolour is an attractive evergreen culinary herb prized for its distinctive variegated foliage, combining soft green, creamy white, and pink to purple tones. Its compact, bushy growth and aromatic leaves make it an excellent addition to herb gardens, cottage gardens, borders, rockeries, and pots, providing year-round foliage interest as well as culinary value.
Best grown in a sunny, well-drained position, Sage Tricolour is relatively drought tolerant once established and suits Mediterranean-style gardens. The fragrant leaves can be harvested throughout the growing season and used to flavour meats, vegetables, stuffing, sauces, and other dishes, while its delicate flowers provide additional seasonal interest and attract beneficial pollinators.
