Scaevola Aemula ‘Purple Fanfare’ (Purple Fan Flower) is a spreading, trailing Australian native groundcover valued for its masses of vivid purple fan-shaped flowers and bright green foliage. It is an excellent choice for hanging baskets, containers, borders, rockeries and groundcover plantings, where it creates a soft cascading effect and long-lasting colour through the warmer months.
Easy to grow and low maintenance, Purple Fanfare performs best in full sun to partial shade in moist but well-drained soil. Its sprawling habit and extended flowering season make it a reliable option for gardeners looking for a colourful plant that works well in both garden beds and pots. It is also frost resistant and benefits from cutting back after flowering to keep it tidy and encourage fresh growth.
