Sedum burrito, commonly known as Burro's Tail or Baby Burro's Tail, is a beautiful evergreen trailing succulent prized for its cascading stems densely covered with plump, bead-like blue-green leaves. Its graceful, pendulous habit makes it one of the most popular succulents for hanging baskets, elevated planters, shelves, and indoor displays, where its trailing foliage can be fully appreciated.
Compared to its close relative Sedum morganianum, Sedum burrito has shorter, more rounded leaves that are less likely to detach, making it slightly easier to grow and maintain. Drought tolerant and exceptionally low maintenance, it thrives in bright conditions with well-drained soil. Mature plants may reward growers with clusters of delicate pink to red star-shaped flowers during spring and summer, adding extra ornamental appeal.
