Sedum sieboldii, also known as October Daphne or Siebold’s Stonecrop, is a low-growing deciduous succulent prized for its attractive trailing habit and seasonal colour. It produces fleshy, blue-green rounded leaves arranged in whorls along slender stems, creating a soft, cascading texture ideal for rockeries and containers.
In autumn, this sedum becomes especially striking when clusters of star-shaped pink flowers appear above the foliage, adding vibrant seasonal interest. Highly drought-tolerant and low maintenance, it thrives in dry, well-drained conditions and is perfect for rock gardens, walls, and water-wise landscapes.
