Syzygium ‘Little Denise’ is a compact, evergreen Australian native shrub prized for its dense foliage, natural screening ability, and year-round ornamental appeal. It is a refined form of Lilly Pilly, specially selected for smaller gardens where a neat, manageable hedge or feature plant is required.
The plant produces masses of small, fluffy white flowers in late spring to summer, followed by decorative red to pinkish-purple berries that are attractive to birds. New growth often emerges with a reddish tint, providing seasonal colour contrast against the mature glossy green foliage.
With its tight, bushy growth habit and naturally rounded form, ‘Little Denise’ is ideal for hedging, screening, container planting, and structured landscape designs.
