Syzygium Smithii ‘Firescreen’ (Lilly Pilly)

Syzygium Smithii ‘Firescreen’ (Lilly Pilly) is a highly reliable evergreen screening shrub valued for its dense, upright growth habit and glossy green foliage. Naturally forming a tight, uniform structure, it is one of the most popular choices for hedging and privacy screens in both residential and commercial landscapes. Its fine-textured leaves create a lush, formal appearance while providing excellent year-round coverage.

This improved selection is known for its strong performance, fast establishment, and excellent response to pruning, allowing it to be maintained as a neat hedge or grown into a taller screen. It also produces small creamy-white flowers in season, followed by decorative berries that attract birds, adding biodiversity to the garden. Ideal for creating privacy, wind protection, and structured green walls, ‘Firescreen’ is a dependable landscaping favourite.
