Tillandsia ‘Antonio’ is a refined hybrid created from the cross Tillandsia cyanea × platyrachis. It is similar to ‘Creation’ but offers a smaller, more compact form with improved foliage and overall structure.
The plant develops a graceful rosette of narrow, pointed leaves that remain relatively firm and upright, giving it a neat and architectural appearance. Mature plants can spread to approximately 60cm or more, making a striking statement despite their compact form.
The impressive inflorescence rises above the foliage and produces numerous paddle-shaped pink branches, followed by attractive purple flowers. Its unusual flower display and sculptural rosette make ‘Antonio’ an excellent choice for indoor collections, tropical displays and decorative containers.
