Vriesea Hieroglyphica (King Of Bromeliads)

Vriesea Hieroglyphica is an impressive evergreen bromeliad prized for its broad, arching lime-green leaves marked with irregular dark green bands resembling ancient hieroglyphs. The foliage forms a large, funnel-shaped rosette, creating a bold architectural feature for indoor displays, shaded patios, tropical gardens and decorative containers. Mature plants may eventually produce a tall, branching flower spike carrying creamy-yellow blooms during the warmer months.

Known as the King Of Bromeliads, this distinctive species is an excellent choice for customers seeking a dramatic foliage plant with strong year-round colour. It performs best in bright indirect light or filtered shade and requires very little pruning. Its patterned leaves, generous mature size and ability to produce replacement pups make it a rewarding long-term addition to sheltered tropical settings.
