A robust, erect shrub reaching up to 2 m in height, Zieria smithii features aromatic, dark green tri-foliolate leaves with a pale, slightly hairy underside. Its glossy foliage provides year-round structure, ideal for coastal gardens, hedges, or screening in native landscapes.
In spring and summer, the shrub produces clusters of 7–60 small, white flowers in the leaf axils, attracting pollinators and adding seasonal interest. Hardy and versatile, it thrives in dry or wet sclerophyll woodlands, coastal shrublands, and well-drained soils, making it perfect for low-maintenance, wildlife-friendly plantings
